The Kosovo Civic Alternative welcomes the agreement announced today regarding the implementation of Kosovo’s Laws on Foreigners and Vehicles. KCA also expresses its appreciation for the efforts of the EUSR for the Dialogue and congratulates the Government of Kosovo for a response fully in line with the country’s high constitutional and democratic standards for communities.

The arrangement creates conditions to address all relevant interests, applying the rule of law across Kosovo while enabling affected citizens and residents to regulate their status, alongside a reasonable timeframe for further solutions.

We call for the bona fide implementation of this agreement and invite affected citizens and residents to engage constructively with Kosovo institutions and make use of this opportunity.
